Hey Neighbors! Help Make Futrell Park Awesome: Share Your Stories!"

Hey there, amazing Booker T. Washington Neighborhood residents and community members! We're thrilled to share an exciting project that's all about the community's history. Futrell Park is getting a special touch with storytelling markers, and your stories are the heart of it all.

So, here's the deal: We want to hear from you. Your stories, your memories, your experiences – they're like gems that will make our park shine even brighter. Tell us your thoughts in our surveys by August 31, 2023. Complete Survey Here

The neighborhood has seen so much – from the olden days to the present. This project is all about bringing those stories to life, right in our beloved park. We're teaming up with Habitat for Humanity Neighborhood Revitalization, the City of Myrtle Beach Parks, Recreation, and Sports Tourism Department, Myrtle Beach Neighborhood Services, and the Myrtle Beach Downtown Alliance for this fantastic journey. And here's the best part: we want YOUR ideas and memories to be part of these markers. Remember those tales your grandparents told you? Or those stories your parents shared about how things used to be? This is your chance to share them. Let's make our park a treasure trove of memories and history, together! Join us in creating a park that's not just beautiful, but also rich in the stories that make our community special. Let's make history together – one story at a time!
